Not a chance.
But the internet will continue to be a distribution channel for audio and video programming, much of it produced and/or simulcast by over-the-air broadcasting stations and cable outlets.
The cool thing that history proves is, no medium of communication ever disappears when another one comes along, it just continues to exist alongside all the rest. We still read books, we still read newspapers, we still watch plays, we still go to movies in theaters, we still listen to radio and we still watch broadcast and cable TV even as we post online. We're just going to continue to have more ways to read, watch and listen to more content all the time, coming at us from more sources, not to mention whole new ways to CREATE content for ourselves and for everyone else out there. The one thing we are running out of, is the time to digest it all.
